BRIGHTSKY

The BrightSky program was designed to meet the needs of individuals in the greater Tulsa area who are in need of counseling services, but may be uninsured, under-insured or unable to afford their insurance co-pay. The Mental Health Association in Tulsa developed the program after determining there was a lack of opportunity for uninsured individuals and families to receive mental health counseling. BrightSky is facilitated by the Mental Health Association in Tulsa and funded by the Tulsa Area United Way.

The goal of the BrightSky program is to provide a service both accessible and user-friendly; a service linking individuals in need with trained mental health care professionals. It is not meant to provide crisis intervention or long-term care.
