WALKER HALL

Walker Hall Transitional Living Center is a licensed transitional group home for 12 adults with mental illness. This program provides community advocacy and support services designed to lead residents toward independent living. Residents come from the streets, shelters and hospitals and while at Walker Hall they participate in medication monitoring and life skills training. There are a variety of program activities and the residents are responsible for maintaining a home environment. There is a strong emphasis on developing a Housing and Care Plan that will establish positive goals for the residents while helping them to attain residential stability, many for the first time in their lives.
