CONSUMER VOLUNTEER AND EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES

The Recovery Center focuses on helping consumers of mental health services engage in and contribute to their community. Along with peer-support programs, the Recovery Center offers opportunities for recovering consumers to begin learning skills for work and socialization by volunteering for the Mental Health Association.

Additionally, there are occasional job openings for consumers on the Recovery Center Staff. The Mental Health Association in Tulsa is committed to hiring dedicated, diverse and knowledgeable staff, including mental health consumers, into positions that fit the individual's skills. The Recovery Center Staff is also available to help consumers get linked to job trainings and job placement providers for services and possible future employment opportunities.
